Dr. Avery Shenfeld is a Managing Director and Senior Economist with CIBC World Markets, having been with the firm's economics department since 1993. Shenfeld has served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto, and has lectured in the Summer Program for Public Administrators at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He has addressed numerous business groups internationally on economic developments and financial market prospects, and is a frequent commentator in the media.
